VO₂ Max and Blood Lactate Profiling
Test - Measure - Asses - Dominate
VO₂ Max Test is the gold standard assessment of aerobic fitness, measuring your body’s ability to take in, transport, and use Oxygen during exercise. It provides a precise, science‑based insight into your cardiovascular fitness and endurance capacity.
VO₂ Max Testing

VO₂ Max Testing
You’ll perform a graded exercise protocol (typically on a treadmill or bike) while wearing a specialised mask that analyses your breathing in real time. As the intensity gradually increases, we collect highly accurate data to determine your maximum Oxygen uptake (VO₂ max), along with key performance metrics such as heart rate zones, ventilatory thresholds, and calorie expenditure.
Price: £100
What you'll get:
VO₂ Max Assessment
-
VO₂ Max measurement expressed in both mL/kg/min and L/min
-
Determination of maximum heart rate
-
HR Zones
-
Ventilory threshold report
All information is included in a report you receive following the test.
Duration:
Approximately 45 - 60 minutes

VO₂ Max and Blood Lactate Testing
This involves perfroming the VO₂ Max test following the Blood Lactate Test; during the LT test, the intensity of the activity is increased every 4-5 minutes. At the end of every interval, we obtain heart rate, VO₂ (optional during LT test), Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE), and blood lactate utilising "TrainRed" Infrared muscle spectrometry. The LT test is stopped when LT2 (signified by a sharp drop off in SmO₂) has been reached. Following a short cool-down, approx. ~10-minutes of rest, we start the VO₂ Max component of the test.
